Goodbye, union dues and association fees deducted from your paycheck.
If you are retired or a pensioner, this is one of the best pieces of news of the year!
The new Law 15.327/2026 definitively prohibited the deduction of association and union dues directly from your benefits.
Previously, many entities deducted amounts from your account every month, even without you realizing it. Now, even if you authorized this in the past, this automatic deduction is prohibited.
If you wish to remain a member, you will have to pay separately, such as via bank slip or direct debit.
Found a strange discount? You can get your money back in 30 days.
The new law also cracked down on fraud. If you identify any improper deductions—whether for monthly fees or even for a payroll loan that you don't recognize—the company or bank responsible will have to return all the money within 30 days.
Furthermore , the government has already returned over R$ 2,8 billion to more than 4 million beneficiaries who were harmed in recent years . Keep an eye on your monthly statement!
