Recent relevant changes (Budget 2026)
Budget 2026 introduced important measures for the Fuel Allowance: The weekly rate increased from €33 to €38 starting in January 2026. and expanded eligibility to include, for example, families receiving Working Family Payment (with implementation and retroactive payments planned).
