How does it work Payment

Since the recent update to the regulatory policy, there has been standardization: 100% discount on the tariff applied to consumption of up to 80 kWh/month for beneficiaries of the Social Tariff.

Consumption exceeding 80 kWh is billed normally, and billing elements such as local taxes or contributions (ICMS, public lighting) may continue to be charged.

Before the change, there were tiered tiers (for example: 65% for the first kWh, 40% for intermediate tiers, etc.), but the current rule prioritizes free charging up to a limit of 80 kWh.

For consumers who rely on continuous medical devices or specific communities, additional rules may apply.
